ABSTRACTS UNDER REVIEW FOR VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
Thank you for your abstract submission and interest in the Second Annual Conference on Brain Metastases. After discussions with the Toronto Hilton and careful consideration by the SNO leadership, we have decided to cancel the in-person gathering that was scheduled for August 13-15, 2020. This decision was based on our overwhelming concern for the safety and well-being of our members, partners, staff and the families of all involved.
Nevertheless, SNO is committed to delivering research on the subject of brain metastases, and we would like to share with you below our plan for disseminating your research virtually.
- Submitted abstracts are in the process of being reviewed and graded by the conference chairs.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in the journal, Neuro-Oncology Advances.
- Authors of top scoring abstracts will be selected to provide virtual oral presentations that will be hosted on the Oxford University Press website.
- Authors of other accepted abstracts will be invited to submit their research digitally as an e-poster.
Information regarding the virtual format, dates, etc. will be posted shortly. Abstract submitters will receive notification as to the disposition of their abstract in due course. Submitters who do not wish to participate in a virtual meeting are asked to contact the SNO administrative office (

MAY 22 to withdraw their abstract.
