Lindsay Kilburn, M.D., comes to Children's National Hospital from Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX, where she was an assistant professor of pediatrics in the neuro-oncology and pharmacology programs.

Dr. Kilburn graduated with a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia. After graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School, she completed her pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA, and her hematology/oncology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She also has received training in pharmacology from both Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Her research focuses on the development and evaluation of new therapeutic agents for children with pediatric brain tumors through clinical trials. She is committed to the improvement of palliative and supportive care. Dr. Kilburn grew up outside of Philadelphia and is married with young twins. Outside of work, she enjoys sailing, hiking, and traveling with her family.
