Tufts Brain Tumor Clinic

Multi-disciplinary brain tumor clinic and Neuro-Oncology group caring for patients with glioblastoma, anaplastic astrocytoma, benign tumors, meningioma, skull based tumors, metastatic disease and leptomeningeal carcinomatosis.  Active brain tumor clinical trial component.  Bench research with a robust animal model of glioma in addition leads to excellent opportunity to do Phase I trials in animals.  Large nutrition school and veterinary school provide opportunity for cross collaboration.
Weekly multi-disciplinary tertiary clinics and Neuro-Oncology tumor board include staff of the Floating Childrens hospital and pediatric hematology-oncology physicians and the full complement of neurosurgical, medical oncology, neuro-oncology, neuro-radiology and neuro-pathology services.  We take care of patients and their families across the disease continuum and through all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
