The Abhijit Guha Fund for International Neuro-Oncology Outreach is an initiative of the SNO Foundation designed to promote clinical and research activities in both pediatric and adult neuro-oncology in developing regions of the world.

The Need

Brain tumors know no boundaries and in developing regions of the world, the need for trained neuro-oncology professionals is especially acute. In order for the SNO Foundation to reach out to these unserved areas, we need your support. SNO members and friends of our Society are asked to review the attached pledge form and consider making a contribution to help fund our international efforts. And, to extend your gift further, please note that all donations to the fund will be matched, dollar for dollar, by the SNO Foundation!

About Abhijit Guha
Abhijit (Ab) Guha was the sixth president of the Society for Neuro-Oncology. Dr. Guha was an accomplished neurosurgeon who maintained an active research laboratory, and trained numerous post-doctoral fellows, residents, and students in neurooncology research. Throughout his career, he was devoted to advancing neuro-oncology education in underserved areas. Correspondingly, the Abhijit Guha International Outreach Fund seeks to recognize Dr. Guha’s global contributions to the field and create a lasting legacy that will continue this work in his name.
