2008 Lifetime Achievement Award: Charles Wilson, MD           

I had the honor of presenting the SNO Lifetime Achievement Award to Charles Byron Wilson, M.D. on November 22, 2008. Unable to attend the presentation were two of our beloved past presidents, Ab Guha and Ed Shaw. Ab was hospitalized in California in preparation for a bone marrow transplant and Ed was home with his ill wife. I decided to put my presentation and some of the pictures I collected on the SNO website so they and others who either missed the presentation or wanted to learn more about Dr. Wilson could have an opportunity to do so. The words that follow as well as the pictures formed the basis for my talk, however, I got carried away by the moment and neglected part of the talk and some of the pictures.
