Getting Back to Basics and Moving into the Future for Brain Tumor Epidemiology
1.To review and brainstorm on ideas for moving brain tumor epidemiology into the future using new technology
2.To explore opportunities for new studies using novel recruitment techniques
3.To review briefly the classifications and biology of low-grade gliomas (LGG) and nonmalignant brain tumors, specifically meningioma, schwannoma, pilocytic astrocytoma, and ganglioglioma.
4.To review the current monitoring and surveillance systems (i.e., registries and databases) for those tumors in children and adults in order to propose new studies using these data
5.To identify and initiate new collaborations on these tumors within BTEC.
