16th Quadrennial Meeting of the World Society for Stereotactic & Functional Neurosurgery

 
The 16th quadrennial meeting of the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (WSSFN) will be held in Tokyo, Japan from May 27- 30, 2013.
 
There is a tremendous amount of novel development in this field particularly with the application of neuromodulation techniques in cutting edge areas including psychiatry, movement disorders, pain and even cognition and dementia. The meeting will highlight world authorities giving plenary lectures, and will feature highly innovative and high-impact presentations selected amongst the very best of the submitted abstracts.
 
Tokyo is an attractive city and is particularly enjoyable during the month of May. Attendees should take advantage of the local and nearby attractions including the newly built Tokyo Sky Tower and of course Mt Fuji. Do not miss the historical regions like Kyoto, Nara, and Hiroshima which are within 2-3 hours by rapid train.
