This year the Society for Neuro-Oncology is honored to host the 4th Quadrennial World Federation of Neuro-Oncology (WFNO) meeting in San Francisco from November 21st to the 24th. Meeting chairman Dr. Mitchel Berger extends a warm welcome to members of all neuro-oncology societies to share in this unique educational event.
Registration includes continental breakfasts each morning of the conference, boxed lunches Friday and Saturday, the Thursday evening Welcome Reception and the Friday and Saturday Wine and Cheese Poster Sessions. Registration does NOT include the Saturday evening Gala Dinner. Tickets for this event, which are available on a first come, first served basis, can be purchased by registering separately. Click here for information.
The meeting will build on the traditional SNO format presenting top-scoring abstracts, and invited meet-the-expert sessions.
You are invited to join us Thursday evening for a special welcome reception to kick off the meeting. Friday evening, a special “Townhall Meeting” is planned that will review the results of the recent international randomized phase III trials evaluating the use of antiangiogenic strategies for newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma session. This special session will provide a forum for open and interactive discussion about how these results may impact clinical care and efforts for further research.
The social highlight of the meeting will be a gala dinner at the magnificant San Francisco City Hall. Please note that registrants who want to join the gala dinner must buy a ticket to attend. Seats are limited, and it is highly recommended to purchase the ticket during on-line registration as it is likely the gala will be sold-out.
