Membership and the Neuro-Oncology Journal

One of the many benefits of a Society for Neuro-Oncology Membership is a subscription to Neuro-Oncology.

Neuro-Oncology is the official journal of the Society for Neuro-Oncology, the Japan Society for Neuro-Oncology, the European Association for Neuro-Oncology, and the World Federation of Neuro-Oncology. Dedicated to providing superior and rapid publication of information in all areas of neuro-oncology, the journal contains peer-reviewed articles and reviews, symposia on selected topics, published abstracts of annual meetings, and society news and announcements from around the world.

Membership is available at 3 levels: Full, Associate, and Trainee. Full membership requires doctorate-level degree. Associate memberships are available for those without doctorate-level degrees, whose work involves neuro-oncology-related practice or research. Trainee memberships are available to those in scientific or clinical training who do not hold faculty appointments.

Full or Associate memberships are $200.00 per year; Trainee memberships are $75 per year. Members receive the following benefits:
  • Twelve monthly issues of Neuro-Oncology
  • Discount to the annual SNO Scientific Meeting and Education Day
  • Regular e-blasts and neuro-oncology news
  • Access to members-only section of the SNO website

Dues are applied on a January-December calendar-year basis. Dues paid after August 31 of any year will be applied to the journal subscription for the following year (e.g., dues paid on Sept. 1, 2011 will be applied to a 2012 journal  subscription). All other membership benefits are activated immediately.
