-Basic science/translational research: the fellow will have the opportunity to work with principal investigators in the Brain
Tumor Research Center in areas of immunotherapy, angiogenesis, stem cell research, resistance mechanisms,
epigenetics and apoptosis. In addition, preclinical testing of novel agents is a major focus of the tissue and animal core
led by Dr. David James.
-Clinical research: Clinical research opportunities exist in neuro-epidemiology, neuro-radiology and therapeutic areas.
