7th Annual Brain Tumor Symposium

The 7th Annual Brain Tumor Symposium, hosted by Thomas Jefferson University, will take place Friday, October 27, 2017.  The focus of this year's conference is "Current and Emerging Treatment Approaches for Central Nervous System Metastases."

Join expert clinicians as they explore the increasing prevalence of central nervous system metastases and the controversies surrounding the rapid development of multimodal therapies including surgery, whole brain radiation, sterotactic radiosurgery and targeted immunomodulatory systemic therapies. Attendees will evaluate each of these modalities throughout morning didactic sessions and customize treatment for patients with single and multiple brain metastases during an interactive multidisciplinary tumor board. The afternoon program will split into two tracks, tailoring information for physicians and nurses and allied health professionals.

This course is designed for all specialists working in the field of neuro-oncology: neurosurgeons, neurologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, advanced care providers, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, hospitalists, oncology social workers and pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
