The  24th Annual Blood-Brain Barrier Consortium Meeting, organized in collaboration with the International Brain-Barriers Society (IBBS), will take place March 15 - 16, 2018 in Portland, Oregon. The 2018 meeting will focus on: "Advancing Translational Research on Central Nervous System (CNS) Barriers: Development, Disease, and Trauma."

There are a small number of travel scholarships available for graduate students, medical students, and junior researchers. The application deadline for these awards are January 19, 2018.

Sessions will include:

• Development and the NVU
• Oncology and the NVU
• CNS Trauma and the NVU
• Roundtable Discussion: the clinical significance of intracranial gadolinium deposition
