On behalf of the CNO Meeting Organizing Committee we are looking forward to seeing you in our Nation's Capital for the 20th Biennial Canadian Neuro-Oncology Meeting. We are planning a robust conference agenda which will feature breaking advances in Neuro-Oncology research and Neurosurgical techniques.

Ottawa is beautiful in May, and the meeting venue is steps from Parliament Hill, the National Arts Centre, National Gallery, and the Byward Market. We encourage you to register, join us, and leave time to enjoy the many extras that the city has to offer.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:
The Scientific Committee is now accepting abstracts for podium and poster presentation.

Abstracts presented at the meeting will be available for download on the CNO2023 meeting website.
Instructions for Submission of Abstract:
Submit an electronic abstract (not exceeding 250 words) using 12-point typeface in Word format only by 28 February 2023.
To submit an abstract via the website click here
The website does not support special characters, so these must be spelled out.
The abstract title must be in lower case letters except for the first word and abbreviations, and followed by the authors' initials, family name(s), city and province/country. Please place an asterisk by the name of the presenting author.
An individual may present more than one abstract.
Notification of acceptance and presentation schedule will be sent via email on or before March 31, 2023.


YOUNG INVESTIGATOR RESEARCH AWARDS:
Two "Young Investigator Awards", made possible by the Canadian Brain Tumour Consortium, will be awarded (selected by the CNO awards committee). Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents in training and allied health professionals are eligible.

Young Investigator Award in Basic Science $1,500 CND
Young Investigator Award in Clinical Investigation $1,500 CND

TRAVEL GRANTS:
Ten (10) travel grants of $500 each will also be awarded (selected by the CNO awards committee) to help graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents in training, and allied health professionals travel to Ottawa to present their research. These are made possible by the Ottawa Health Research Institute.
