Erik Sulman, MD, PhD
                Radiation Oncology/Research

Dr. Sulman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has joint appointments in the Departments of Translational Molecular Pathology and Genomic Medicine.  In addition, he is Chief of the Central Nervous System/Pediatric Radiation Oncology Service.   He serves as translational chair of a number of national and international clinical trials and directs a research laboratory focused on developing predictors of treatment response using glioma stem-like cell models. 

He earned his PhD in Molecular Biology and Cancer Genetics and MD from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after which he completed his residency in radiation oncology and post-doctoral research fellowship in the Brain Tumor Center at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Dr. Sulman is the Radiation Oncology Board Member and head of the Technology Committee of SNO
