Supported Travel for SNO Members who are Early Career/Young Investigators to Attend “Head to the Hill” in Washington, DC
Join the SNO delegation attending the Head to the Hill event in Washington, DC, May 8-9, 2023!
Organized by the National Brain Tumor Society, this annual event has become a powerful vehicle to ensure that the voice of the brain tumor community is heard on Capitol Hill.
SNO will cover the airfare and accommodation for the first 10 SNO members who are early carer/young investigators.
Participants at this two-day event will learn about key public policy issues facing the brain tumor community and will have the opportunity to meet with congressional staffers to raise awareness of the issues, needs, and priorities of the brain tumor community. Your participation in “Head to the Hill” will help policymakers better understand the critical and urgent needs of this community and the policies that are vital to ensuring availability of treatments, increased scientific research, and the discovery of a cure.
