The Society for Neuro-Oncology would like to congratulate Dr. Eric Bouffet for being selected as the 2021 recipient of the SNO Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is given to a meritorious individual who has made significant contributions in neuro-oncology in either clinical care and/or translational or basic research. Dr. Bouffet has demonstrated a life-long commitment to improving outcomes for children and young adults with brain tumors. Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Bouffet’s scientific achievements have influenced and motivated clinicians and investigators on a global scale.  In addition his a outstanding scientific and clinical achievements, he has also worked tirelessly to improve brain tumor care in developing regions of the world. SNO looks forward to presenting Dr. Bouffet with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2021 SNO Annual Meeting in Boston.
