Through scholarships, abstract awards, and research funding opportunities, SNO supports professionals at all career stages, fostering innovation, recognizing excellence, and expanding access to education and scientific exchange within the global neuro-oncology community.

Funding Opportunities

The Early Career Catalyst Grants for Translational Neuro-Oncology Research are designed to support promising early-career investigators within seven years of completing a fellowship who are conducting innovative translational research in neuro-oncology.

Scholarships

The SNO International Outreach Committee awards a minimum of seven annual meeting travel scholarships to medical professionals focusing on neuro-oncology from low and middle income countries to attend the SNO Annual Meeting. Scholarships are designated to the following regions: South America/Central America & the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa (East, West, Central and Southern Africa), China & associated countries, Far East and Australasia, Indian Sub-Continent, North Africa & the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

Awards

SNO’s Abstract Awards recognize outstanding scientific contributions presented at the SNO Annual Meeting. These awards highlight innovative research across basic, translational, and clinical neuro-oncology, celebrating excellence among trainees and established investigators. All abstracts submitted to the Annual Meeting are considered for awards.
